Five Facts You Must Know In Order to Make Dramatic Improvements In Your Leg, Butt, Hip and Thigh Areas

The lower body trouble spots of a woman can be extremely stubborn and quite depressing. From ‘too fat and flabby’ to ‘very skinny, unshapely and covered with cellulite’ - the female leg, butt, hip and thigh areas can be the toughest areas to ‘fix’. But armed with the right information and a little bit of energy you can make definite, visible and permanent improvements.

Here are five key points you must know:

1 - There are several hundred muscles in your leg, butt hip and thigh area.

Not exercising these muscles properly will make your trouble spots worse and more pronounced. The right exercises that use these muscles in harmony with each other can bring definite results without spending unrealistic amounts of time for exercise and risking injury. ‘Balance’ is an important element of the proper program.

2 - Regardless of your leg, butt, hip and thigh goals

- from fat/flab/cellulite reduction to building, toning, lifting and sculpting the right combination of exercises and food intake will give you much better results in a shorter amount of time. Combine these improperly and you’ll just keep spinning your wheels, with no results to show for your efforts.

3 - Age, genetics and body type have much less impact on

how your body looks and feels, than you may have been led to believe by traditional media, your friend’s brother in law or your family physician. Your body is quite adaptable when treated properly as opposed to trying to force change on it with inappropriate, heavy weight-training and uncomfortable machine type exercise programs

4 - You will NEVER improve or enhance your leg, butt, hip or thigh areas with

cellulite creams, lotions, wrap treatments, diet/fat burning pills, butt enhancement supplements or any other money wasting gimmick that sounds to good to be true. (You may have already wasted A LOT of money on some of these). Deceptive marketing companies take advantage of advertising loopholes that allow them to lie to you on the packaging and in their advertisements. They don’t care about you at all - they just want your money, nothing else.

5 - If you come across any other programs that promise you a ‘J-Lo butt and thighs’ or Tina Turner legs, run as fast as you can. You’re not J-Lo, Tina Turner, Cindy Crawford or Beyonce - you are YOU.And while it is possible, that with the right exercises you might be able achieve a body that looks exactly like that of a specific celebrity or supermodel - NOBODY can make you that promise, without lying to you outright. Makeup For Older Women

You may be above 40 but there is no reason, why you should look so. So here are some tips and tricks for mature women to conceal their age effectively and look young forever:

  • Use a stiff bristled brush and blush to line the lips rather than a lip liner pencil that helps your lip color to stay put longer and prevent it from bleeding or feathering.
  • Use loose translucent powder with a powder brush only once in the morning to set your makeup as reapplying it again and again can accentuates lines and wrinkles. Use a fluffy brush alone for the touch up.
  • Use a highlighter to de-emphasize jowls (the lines from the edge of the nose to the corner of the mouth).
  • Use a non-frosted powder under the chin to de-emphasize saggy neck. Choose a shade slightly darker than your natural skin tone.
  • Frosted eye shadows can actually make you look younger but be sure that you are expert at handling them properly. Use the lightest shade under your brow, a darker one close to your lashes and the darkest on the crease and blend them properly.
  • Be soft and subtle in the choice of makeup and colors for the youthful look or get professional help!
  • A foundation with a lighter-textured base that matches your skin tone is a must.
  • Use concealer generously to cover up any aging lines or blemishes.
  • Use cream blushes in golden almond and copper tones and blend them gently from cheeks to temples in an arc for a soft transparent effect.
  • Blends of pink and gray eye shadows soften graying hair.
  • Use a soft eyebrow pencil that matches your hair color and never ever use black eyebrow pencil.
  • Use soft matte lip colors in pink, berry, coral or peach shades to make your lips fuller.

Picking The Right Size In Womens Clothing

Looking your best usually involves a trip to the store and several hours looking through lots of womens clothing on the rack. Sure that dress is a pretty color and the cut is delicious, but does it fit you the way it should?

There are several standards to follow in trying on womens clothing to make sure it really fits you. That size on the label just doesn’t fit every single woman in that particular height/weight group. There are differences in shoulder width, arm length, upper arm circumference, bust, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs and even leg length. So, in reality the same size 14 that fits one woman won’t fit another, yet that other woman can easily (and often does) find a well fitting garment in another brand that’s also a size 14. It’s ironic, but tends to be the problem with the mass produced womens clothing available these days.

Fitting Womens Clothing

It’s important to make sure you try on everything you are going to buy at the store. Don’t be afraid of the changing rooms. Bras and underwear may be something you’ll hesitate to try on, but you can certainly try out all other kinds of outerwear from the hat on your head to the shoes on your feet.

When looking at yourself in the mirror pay close attention to how a particular piece of womens clothing lays on your body.

The shoulder seams on a top should lay just over the edge of the shoulder. If a seam hangs too far over the shoulder it will make your sleeves look too large and blousey. If the seam lies too high up on the shoulder your top will be uncomfortable and feel tight in the armpits.

Also pay attention to the bust area. The top should fit comfortably against the bust with plenty of room to move. Your bust should not strain against the fabric nor should the fabric hang down the front of your bust making it appear saggy.

Make sure you move your arms, rolling them above your head, holding them straight out to your sides and so forth. The top you are wearing should feel comfortable no matter what position you are in. The sleeves shouldn’t feel tight. Long sleeved shirts should cover your arm all the way to just beyond the bony part of your wrist when you hold it straight out.

When trying on pants they should also cover your legs just past the bony part of your ankle. When you sit down they shouldn’t ride up your leg more than an inch or so.

The crotch of the pants shouldn’t hug too tightly, nor should it hang down too far. Place two fingers between the waistband of your pants and your stomach while you are trying them on. They should fit easily without straining your pants, so your tummy has a little room to expand throughout the day.

Fitting womens clothing at the clothing store is a good way to ensure that you make your way home with the right clothing for you.
